Becoming a VASCAPA member

VASCAPA is a non-profit organization (association sans but lucratif  - asbl - in French). There are associated and full members, that can be both physical or legal persons. For instance, the Rare Disorders Belgium association is a full member of Vascapa as well. 
Our headquarters are at the address of Institute de DUVE, located at 74, Avenue Hippocrate, 1200 Woluwé-Saint-Lambert, in the legal district of Brussels in Belgium. 
All individuals suffering from a vascular anomaly, their relatives, loved ones as well as those that desire to help and promote the goals and actions of the association and welcome to join us as full members or associate members.
Therefore, there are two ways to join Vascapa:
Becoming an Associate Member
Associate members contribute with their moral and if they wish to their financial support. They can participate in the activities organized by the association. They do not participate in the management and council, and they have no right to vote at the general assemblies.

Becoming a Full Member
Full members on the other hand have the right to vote in our General Assembly. They can also participate in the Board of Directors under certain conditions defined at the Assembly. To become a full member you need to make a express request to the current board. The request must then be approved by the General Assembly of Vascapa, that takes place at least once per year. For further details, you are welcome to consult the association legal documents as per belgian law. Full members are also obliged to make an anual contribution.

The contribution to become a full member of VASCAPA is fixed at 20 EUR per year
